Accident in India

Hi Everyone,

 

I have just come off the phone to Johnny & Heather Prentice in India. They were in quite a serious car accident on Sunday. They were travelling to a river for the afternoon and for a baptism when Johnny had to swerve to avoid hitting 3 cows, one of which seemed to run towards the vehicle. As Johnny regained control of the vehicle it suddenly flipped over and rolled down an embankment a few times.

 

Heather was momentarily knocked unconscious. She wakened within seconds to find herself pinned below the water with one of the young occupants lying on top of her. Johnny pulled the young up and then helped Heather. She quickly got up and let everyone know she was ok, although she was bruised and blood was coming from both arms.

 

There were 5 others in the vehicle, but all escaped with minor injuries. Johnny and Heather want to thank everyone for praying for them. They believe, and rightly so, that prayer provides a protective covering. This is true not only about a car accident, but about them being in India. So keep praying for them and thank God they are safe.

 

They will be with us in October and will be speaking at the first Sunday morning service in October.
