I cannot delete the women who are reading this message, much as I would love to! - Hey! I'm only joking!!! Anyway, I was delighted to see the number of men who were allowed out and who made it along to FIST last night. By the time I got there all of the KFC was well and truly gone. In fact there were so many bones on the tables and in the KFC buckets it reminded me of Ezekiel 37 and the valley of dry bones. The only difference was that flesh did not return to the chickens!
I just want to say well done to the FIST Team. The decor was very manly; the worship was excellent as we stood as men and raised our voices together in our worship to God; and the message that Craig Seawright brought was very direct yet sensitive enough to enable each man to be comfortable with subject. Well done for once again putting on an excellent night. I received the following two comments last night via email after the meeting at FIST. One from one of the women of New Life and the other from one of the men. They will remain unanimous! But what they said was:
The Woman: "LOL!!!! never mind allowing him out, I`m kicking him out!!!!!lol keep him as long as u want!!!!!lol hope u all have a good nite!!!!!!!" The men who were there last night will appreciate this!
The Man: I thought tonight was fantastic and thought Craig done a fantastic job on what can be a very tricky subject, I am really pleased to be part of new life and I am also enjoying getting to know everybody more,esp Glynn who made me feel very welcome the last couple of sunday nights, Couldn't think of a better church to be part of to learn the word of god and help me learn so much more.
This all only works whenever we ALL play OUR part to promote fellowship and friendship. Thanks for playing YOUR part.
