Colin Sturgeon

Doreen Sturgeon has let me know it is Colin's 40th Birthday on Sunday. They do not have the same kind of friends network that others have, but they do have us. I know it is short notice, but it won't take much. If people could bring something like a small cake or a packet of buns and a bottle of sprite or coke etc, we could at least sing Happy Birthday to him and have something after church on Sunday night. Surely this is church!

He does not know we are doing this, so if you see him, say nothing.

Also on Sunday night we will have a guest speaker, Colin Morrison from New Zealand. I have met with him recently and I really warmed to him. He used to be a debt collector, in Portsmouth, England, and would have beaten people to force them to pay up (sounds like people we know!), but is now committed to leading people into freedom of debts by personal faith in Christ. He will share of his testimony and will share from God's Word. His wife Carole will also be with him. Please make them feel welcome.

So we're in for a great night - see you there (but don't forget Sunday morning - it will also be great).
