Boxes for Soldiers

A Message from the HOPE Team:

 

It was reported on the News today that the MOD have asked that people STOP sending boxes of supplies for the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. The reason is because they have a huge supply of boxes and they are having difficulty shifting these and getting them out to the troops on the ground. They also say that delivering the boxes are actually putting soldiers at serious risk of attack. So we need to heed this and stop sending supply boxes to the troops until we hear otherwise.

 

If you have bought some stuff and you still want it to go to good use, please bring it to the church and give it the HOPE Team. They can put what you bring into hampers they are preparing for needy families at Christmas.
