Connect Group

Recently I made it known I will be starting a Connect Group on Sunday Nights. This will take place when there is no FIST or GLOW or Special Monthly event taking place. This will mean there will be something on at church EVERY Sunday night. I will let you know when the first of these is on. Every person is invited to this. YOU are invited to this Connect Group.

 

Besides this there IS a Connect Group in our home at 19 Clare Glen, usually every other Tuesday. There is one this coming Tuesday at 7.30 pm when several women come together to encourage and be encouraged. EVERY woman is invited to this. YOU are invited this Connect Group. There will be informal discussion and sharing; prayer and tea and whatever is brought to eat.

 

Now: my reason for writing at this time is because I want to start another Connect Group. It's an Email Connect Group. This will be different from the Weekly Contact that you receive from me. This will be an opportunity for you to be connected with me and for you to connect with others through me. So that whatever you share with me via email will be passed on to those in the Connect Group. This might be a prayer request or a word of encouragement from you to others in the group. It will mean that more of you can stay connected and pass on information that would be helpful, especially if you know of someone who could do with some support. This will also mean that when appropriate we can call to see people who are in need. Believe me, no matter how caring we think we are, we can so easily fail to be connected when it matters most.
