Important Reminders and NEWS:

 

Sunday Morning at 11.30 am: our third service at City Life Centre

 

Sunday Night at 7 pm sharp: Worship Concert with Mark Tedder and the WorshipPlanet Band from Colorado. Still time to send emails and text messages and Facebook messages and Bebo messages to all your friends and invite them along. I already have several "non-New Lifers" signed up on Facebook to attend the concert. If I can do it; then so too can you!

 

WHAT NEXT?

 

NOVEMBER: Next Sunday night (15 Nov) will be the first Sunday Night event organised by FIST for all the men at New Life and friends. Further information will be given at church on Sunday.

 

On Sunday night 22 Nov "GLOW" our women's ministry, will be putting something on for all of our women and friends.

 

Then on Sunday 29 Nov we will be having our first monthly Sunday night Special at 7 pm. We will have a full programme and our guest speaker will be the Rev. Jim Rea, Shankill Methodist Minister. I have a lot of respect for Jim as someone who truly loves God and has been "out of the box" long before people began to talk about stepping out of the box.

 

DECEMBER: will also be filled with special events including FIST and GLOW. The Sunday night monthly special will be Sunday 20 December. This will be a Christmas Special as it is the Sunday before Christmas.

 

The previous night, Sat 19 December, we will be having our Christmas Dinner. The cost will be between around £17 - £20. This will be for a four course meal provided by an excellent catering company from Rathfriland. We will let you know the exact cost soon.  

 

We need you to start booking your place NOW. If you plan to attend please send me an email.

 

There will be NO SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE on Sunday 20 December.

 

Sunday Night CONNECT GROUP. This will start up soon. It will include short Bible Studies; prayer and fellowship. The Sunday Connect Group will meet on the Sunday nights when nothing is happening and also on the Sunday night that Revolution Youth are meeting. If you plan to come along please me know by email. 

 

CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR: Colin Morrison is now officially appointed as the Administrator for New Life City Church. He will be putting together a weekly handout with information and news relevant to New Life. He will be helping to lift the profile of the church in whatever way is appropriate and will be available to help Teams when it comes to promotional materials etc. His role will develop within the next few weeks.

 

PRAYER:

 

Violet Millar's son Colin has received bad news from the doctor. He really needs our prayers. Colin is also Tracey Seawright's brother.

 

Johnny Simms brother Mark is seriously ill in hospital. He accidentally drank some stuff that has caused him serious damage. Like Colin he really needs your prayers.

 

Hacksaw's wife Alice phoned and asked if we would pray for her sister Elizabeth who has cancer in the womb. She is in hospital and will go through surgery soon. Please pray for her.

 

I understand Nichola Johnston has been in hospital. Please pray for Nicola. Pray also for Margaret Boyd who does not get out to church at the moment due to MS. Pray for a miracles in all of these lives. We want to see people saved and healed.

THANKS again to all who got along on Thursday night to finish fixing the chairs and to help put the banners up around the walls, and to help clean the place again to get it ready for Sunday. See you all then.
