Hey Jock, just forwarding you an email for our football camp at the Blue Houses - it's our 5th year doing it and it has been amazing in the past. HELLO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Just wondered if you fancied being part of an incredible week (well 5 mornings!!!) of banter, fun, craic alongside reaching out to the young people of ballysillan.
 
Ballysillan YFC footie camp is back!  Year 5.  We are on. Get her lit!!!!
 
Mon 19th - Fri 23rd July
 
10am - 1pm each day (coaches meet 9am)
 
camp is for lads aged 8-13
 
I'm not kidding here, for the past 4 years this week has been the hightlight of my year.
 
2006 we had 33 boys, 2007 45 boys, 2008 69 boys, 2009 60 boys
 
Last year we had over 20 coaches, so a ratio of about 3 to 1, which was incredible for the lads as they got so much attention from the coaches.
 
Seriously the banter is awesome and being able to outreach to these lads for a week using football is incredible.
 
I've attached a few photos to wet your appetite.  Have a wee look.
 
Over the week we get up to the following:
 
a few skills and drills
big team games (including the gauntlet - its a beast!!!)
olympic competition
world cup competition
penalty, keepie up and one v one competitions
awards for the day
 
With location booked, all we need to make the week work is to have coaches.
 
If you fancy a bit of this please get back to me ASAP, and if you have any extra questions please fire away.
 
If you know of anyone who would be interested, pass this on to them or tell them bout it.
 
The sooner i know the sooner i can order the coaches shirts, get a few get togethers sorted etc.  Yeoooow!!
 
Please note you don't need to be a footballing legend to do this camp.  Just a desire to reach out to young people and bring them lots of fun and enjoyment.
