Summer's here. Enjoy it while you can. It might only last a day or two; although we're told July and August are to be good. Anyway, regardless of the good weather outside, we had another great time inside. Another great time of worship, although I have to comment that the closing song was just amazing! First I heard it, but was excellent!
The message I brought was entitled "Developing your Stronghold". This follows on from the recent messages "It's Time for Breakthrough" when we finished by talking about David's stronghold. We saw that for us to develop our stronghold we need to establish a Secret Place, but in so doing we need to understand three things:
1. God wants to meet with you personally
2. The door to the Secret Place is always open
3. This can be anywhere, but not anyway and anyhow!
4. The only thing that bars us from truly standing before God is sin
5. It's important that we listen to God as well as talk to him
Why not PLAN to set time aside this week? Begin to build your stronghold by getting into your Secret Place.
Dinner at FEED. Kathleen and I went along this afternoon. We met with Mandy and Mickey who were there ahead of us and spent some quality time chatting with them. Believe me, the dinner was excellent! Much better than Benedict's! So if you went along you would be helping Kevin and would be getting a good meal.
