I had planned to go to the Bible Week tonight, but I got "Holy Ghost Sidetracked" to Andersonstown where I sat with some people from 7.30 pm - 10.30 pm. It reminded again of the need to be "all things to all men that by all means we might save some". Believe me people, God is doing something in Belfast; God is up to something in Belfast, and it's not about entertaining Christians; it's not about providing comfort blankets to Christians; it's not about pampering Christians by giving them what they want. I could have made it to the Bible Week, if "I" had wanted to, and got entertained for the night, but I sat in Andersonstown where the night was well spent in a totally unplanned event.
Afterwards I gave someone a lift home. I drove along a street close to Ballymurphy and I saw a large sand rock that I had climbed and played on as an 8 year old boy. As I sat in the car and talked I could almost hear the Holy Spirit say, "I have brought you full circle and the end is not yet". I then heard him say again as he did on Sunday, "Don't lose sight of the vision", and I responded by saying, "I won't".
And hey, "I won't"!
