Couple of things!

I hope you're having a great weekend thus far, whether on holiday or still at home.

West Belfast

Kathleen and I spent several hours yesterday visiting some "old friends" in west Belfast/Falls community. I think we fail to appreciate the difficulties that "others" go through. Please continue to pray for those within the Falls community. I still believe that God has placed us where we are for the purpose of impacting people on both sides of the divide. When God gives vision, we should not allow what we see or what we don't see blind us to that vision.

Three Prayer Requests

Sonia Clements has asked that we pray for her mother who is presently in Blackpool, but is making her way home today. She is quite ill, and Sonia is really worried about her.

Mesam (from Iran/Persia) who comes to New Life each Sunday has asked that we pray about his visa situation. Mesam is a committed Christian, but his visa has not been granted to allow him to stay here. He fears that if he returns to Iran he will be killed as he is no longer a Muslim.

Monika (from Poland) who comes to New Life each Sunday has asked that we pray for her business. She is a qualified physiotherapist with her own business in Belfast, but as we all know these are difficult days.

Sunday Morning

We had a great time last Sunday morning. Jonathan threw down the gauntlet last week with a great message on Submission and Authority. Tomorrow, after another great worship time, I will bring a message entitled "Refuge in the Storms". We will take time afterwards to pray for those who are going through some stormy situations, whether in finances; relationships/marriages; sickness etc.

Weekly Newsletter

As previously stated, Bill Manwaring is now looking after this. However, we need people to send him brief news items or information to be posted regarding what's happening. If you need to make a brief announcement, please send Bill the information before Thursday of each week at bill@billmanwaring.com

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. See you tomorrow.

Jack
