Baptism Service

At present there are 10 people getting baptised on Sunday, although others have said they wanted to be baptised. Some have expressed the concern that they might not be ready. Well, the fact is, if you had lived in Bible days you would have got baptised the very day you became a Christian. Every person, except the thief on the cross, who became committed followers of Christ were almost immediately baptised as a public demonstration of the faith in Christ.

 

No one waited until they thought they were ready! What does that mean? When are we ready? The fact is we are ready the moment we follow Christ. Baptism is not for perfect Christians, it's for imperfect Christians. Believe me, you will feel so much better by taking this step of obedience. After all Jesus did say, "Repent and be baptised everyone of you".

If your name is not listed and you are a committed Christian and have not been baptised, I would ask you to think about this and would encourage you to make the decision to get baptised in accordance with God's Word. You will feel GREAT!
