Commiserations: Sincere commiserations to all of our Man United fans! In full and committed obedience to "the Word", when one rejoices we all rejoice, and when one suffers we all suffer. So we would ask that you first of all rejoice with us, for this truly was as much a cause to rejoice as if Liverpool had won the European Championship for the SIXTH time (a little prophecy there!). So if you rejoice with us, we will do our best to feel the pain of your suffering. It must be a strange feeling for a United fan to watch United play so poorly and to get played off the pitch by a much superior team and yet not win the match! What's that about? Perhaps it was the fact they were not playing at Old Trafford with a English referee! Anyway, great teams win the European Cup, so we will give United that, but only the greatest teams win it back to back. I wonder what teams managed that?!
Catering: I understand the most used sauce at Old Trafford is ketchup. It seems to take forever to finish it!
Cousins: This coming Saturday we are supporting our cousins in blue. Don't forget that FIST has arranged to meet on Saturday morning. We will then meet for the FA Cup Final to be screened at the FEED Coffee Shop next door to the Methodist Church on the Shankill.
Have a great weekend. See you on Sunday. There will be no mention of football by me. This is it!
Stay focused; stay strong; and keep being a God-influence.
Pastor Jack
