Cross Vigil Day 32

DAY 32: Thursday 15 October

The legs give it away; he's French. He came this way before, but came back today for more. He has a problem with hypocrisy in politics and in the church; but then so do I! So we're in good company.

Ted has a problem with Muslims wanting to set up Sharia Law in the UK, again we're in good company; I have a problem with hypocrisy in politics and in the church, and I also have a problem with Muslims wanting to set up Sharia law in the UK, but I have no problem with Chinese. You don't often see Chinese delivery guys wearing suits, but this is Belfast! Thanks Martine. It was awesome!

Tommy Latimer's birthday today; but we still had him working hard. They say there's no rest for the wicked; sometimes this fits. Pastor Gary Beattie, Bangor Elim, came by for a while. Sorry about the photo Gary; it doesn't do justice for either of us!

Judith, from the Evangelical Alliance, came by to do an interview with me. You can see it soon at http://www.tellitincolour.com. While we were talking an elderly gentleman crossed the road for a chat. He passes by at 2.10 pm as he walks through the gates from the Shankill to the Falls and comes back again around 2.30. Today he wanted to tell me about the good service he enjoyed at his church on Sunday, St. Stephen's Church of Ireland.

Ah! A welcome sight! The coffee that is. I always like a coffee after a Chinese. Thanks Anna. Paul "Adder" Kyle took some time out of his days work to show some solidarity with his pastor. I hope his boss doesn't find out! I deeply appreciate members who run the risk of getting sacked on behalf of their pastor. Thanks Paul.

William and Elizabeth had bad news on Sunday, but great news today. They came to share it with me. We thank God and continue to pray for them and for the little life within. God is so good.

Don't forget the Human Peace Wall on Saturday at 12 noon. Peter Corry will be singing; Baroness May Blood will formally introduce him.

Also the Peace Pole next Saturday 24 October at 2.45 pm. This will be unveiled jointly by the Lord Mayor and the Commissioner for Children and Young People.

Still being a God influence.
